GS5200

GORE-SHIELD GS5200 is a robust, highly electrically and thermally conductive gasket material that provides superior DC resistance and EMI shielding through accelerated life testing (ALT). GS5200 is ideal for shielding applications where aluminum or magnesium castings are used and where screw or fastener spacing can be minimized.

Compared to silver-filled, form-in-place elastomers and following proper design rules, GS5200 is reliable even in the harshest environments, particularly on chromate-coated metal surfaces. GS5200 also has outstanding performance against nickel-plated surfaces.

GS5200 gaskets consist of a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) matrix, filled with highly conductive, nickel-based particles, and an electrically conductive, pressure-sensitive adhesive. GS5200 gaskets are precision die-cut for your application. Gaskets are packaged in either segmented sheets or continuous rolls and can be installed with Gore's STACCATO™ XL, STACCATO™ Plus II, and CRESCENDO™ Installation Systems.
