GORE-SHIELD® GS8000 EMI Gaskets are soft, highly conductive gasket material that provides excellent cavity-to-cavity EMI shielding in portable wireless devices. GS8000 is the ideal gasketing solution for wireless applications that employ flexible housing materials and thin circuit boards.
Super-soft GORE-SHIELD® GS8000 EMI Gaskets are highly compressible. They provide high shielding effectiveness at low closure force, reducing stress on device housings and circuit boards. Because the gasket material is highly conformable, it accommodates molding tolerances well, taking up variations in gap height up to 0.2 mm.
GORE-SHIELD® GS8000 EMI Gaskets consist of a nickel-plated base polymer, a foil layer, and an electrically conductive, pressure-sensitive adhesive. GS8000 gaskets are precision die-cut for your application. Gaskets are packaged on rolls for high-volume assembly and can be installed with Gore's fully automated CRESCENDO™ Installation System.
