The Duros Rugged Tablet PC
The Duros rugged tablet PC successfully unites power, design and toughness in handheld computing. Weighing in at less than 2 kgs, the Duros is elegant, but ultra rugged. Built watertight, shockproof and dustproof in a full IP-65 sealed, cast aluminium housing, the Duros can survive repeated drops to concrete and powerful jets of water. Intended for use in remote, outdoor environments, the Duros ’s full charge will last approximately five hours and the battery can be swapped out without rebooting. A bright display with resistive touch screen makes it ideal for outdoor field use and eliminates the need for any special stylus or pen.
Ergonomically, the Duros is evenly balanced and has a multi-directional handgrip/wrist strap, making it easy to use while standing or in motion. With a sunlight viewable touchscreen, embedded Bluetooth, WLAN, 3G/GPRS and GPS it provides the perfect platform to run your Windows XP applications.
