The Getac W130™ - lightweight and fully rugged
The W130 from Steatite beautifully combines the best of an ultra-lightweight notebook with the strength and durability you'd expect from GETAC. Featuring an Intel® CentrinoTM 1.6 Ghz processor and up to 1GB DDR RAM, the W130 rugged mini-notebook is designed to offer optimal reliability in environments where conventional notebooks fail. At less than 2.7kgs, it is ready to go wherever you need to go, no matter the environment, no matter the weather.
The W130 is the perfect solution for the utility, emergency services, data collection, field applications, and mobile workforce fields. It can be mounted in a vehicle or combined with an optional docking station to enhance the capability with a floppy drive and choice of a fixed CD-ROM, DVD-ROM & CD R/W combo drive. The docking station also provides additional I/O ports for expansion.
To accommodate the on-the-go nature of its users, the W130 provides removable drives, multiple wireless communications solutions, including IEEE 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, GSM/GPRS and DataTAC connectivity, which allow access to the Internet through a cellular network.

Water and Dust Proof:
The unit's sealed casing is designed to prevent infiltration from rain or dust.
Sunlight Readable LCD and Touch Screen:
The W130 comes with a 12.1" TFT LCD display that can display resolutions up to 1024x768. The optional sunlight readable LCD will provide you with optimum screen viewability under direct sunlight. The optional touch screen display, complete with stylus, creates an intuitive user interface.
Drop/Shock Vibration Protected:
The W130 is in full compliance with MIL-STD-810F. The die-cast magnesium alloy case and shock protected hard drive enable it withstand a 3 feet drop onto concrete or 15G of continuous shock without incident.
The W130 is built to handle freezing conditions. The mini-notebook is certified for operation in 0°C/32°F or optional -20°C/-2°F temperature.
