for a powerful, modular and robust platform with laptop convenience, the TetraSmart offers an innovative alternative to conventional portables.
UP TO 5 ADD-IN CARDS
As its name indicates, the TETRASmart is cleverly designed. This new portable PC can offers expandability up to 5 ISA or PCI slots, exclusively dedicated to your add-on cards, including audio or video features if required. No other rugged notebook comes with such expansion capacities.
Special attention has been made to the design of the add-on card access and an exclusive 3-axis retention system which perfectly locates each card, whatever their size.
An efficient air flow based on 2 cooling fans will prevent you any temperature rise from your add-on cards.
UNEQUALLED PERFORMANCE
Using Pentium IV CPUs from 2.0GHz up(400MHz or 533MHz FSB) the TETRASmart can run with 1Gb SDRAM memory and up to two UDMA hard disk drives.
Additional flexibility of the TETRASmart allows for a SCSI hard disk drive, a DVD ROM drive or a CD RW.
For video or multimedia applications, the TETRASmart comes with 32Mb DDR AGP 4X video RAM (optional), the AC 97 audio and 2 built-in speakers. It also offers a wide range of I/O ports.
OPTIMUM READABILITY
The TetraSmart has a large active matrix 15.0" TFT XGA LCD display as standard with an SXGA option for demanding graphics applications.
DESIGN AND ROBUSTNESS
Built in an alloyed aluminium case, the TETRASmart is the perfect combination between robustness and aestheticism, obvious mark of a rigorous design.
