This model is widely regarded as the toughest rugged laptop on the market & widely used in military and other testing applications worldwide. However, certain customers require the use of specific Milspec connectors to integrate within their systems and to support this need, Steatite has designed and engineered a rugged back box that attaches to the standard A790 magnesium chassis and takes the standard I/O commercial connections on the laptop to 38999 military-grade connections. The versatility of the design allows other customers to select the most appropriate connectivity for their applications & Steatite is able to supply a precisely engineered solution.
