Steatite secures a presence at the Marine Autonomous and Robotic Systems Innovation Centre

The Marine Autonomous and Robotic Systems Innovation Centre (MARSIC) is a multi-million pound facility based at the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) in Southampton.

Inspired by the aim to create a community of innovative companies developing technology for Marine Autonomous Systems (MAS), the innovation centre offers dedicated desk space, meeting rooms, breakout areas, workshops and laboratories.

This community co-exists with the NOC MARS team with their extensive experience of deployment in challenging environments.

Based in the heart of the UK’s booming marine sector, the innovation centre provides a number of benefits to Steatite. By securing a presence at the centre, Steatite is able to work in conjunction with some of the biggest players in the industry to drive innovation and help maintain the UK’s position as a world leading centre for marine technology.
